I have a 2008 Coupe. Every since I left the dealer 13 months ago it has made a noise from the area of the passenger A pillar at 65 mph or over. I have tried to duct tape all cracks from the outside to see if the noise would vanish but no joy. Seems to be worse when low humidity. Perhaps static electricity? Does anyone else have this?

Welcome to NICO. Can't say that I've experienced any noise from the passenger side of the car (other than the seat belt on the B pillar). What does the noise sound like?

Are you sure it's the A-Pillar itself? It might be the cowling below the windshield on the outside. Lots of people said they experienced the same sound from that side of the car.

It is a crackling sound, may be wind getting in the car from somewhere. Very difficult to localize. I do not think it from the A pillar itself, sounds like below. Kept thinking it was the vent but even with the vent close it continues. Ussually between 65 - 85 mph. Gone above that (not that I would know).

Yeah sounds exactly like what the others had issues with, same sound, unable to find it. It's the cowling below the windshield on the outside of the car. Dealers are aware of this now I believe and should be able to replace it for you under warranty.
