Yeah I have a 95 240sx, I just installed a ACT X-treme pressure plate street disc, new nismo transmission mount, steel braided clutch line, and new nismo fork pivot bolt. The kit included throw out bearing also put redline oil in the tran, and LSD. My question is I notice if I pull away from a stop I get a vibration on the floorboard where the transmission is at (Gas pedal area). It only does it pulling away from a stop are if I shift to hard (not grinding) Its as if I give it a little to much gas and the flywheel vibrates or something. Does anyone have a clue, the motor mounts are being put in in a week and I will be checking to make sure all bolts are still tight. Should I worry about it are is the clutch just getting use to the new fly, It was a Fidanza fly. Ive drove it 68 miles since the install and its not doing it as much I can pull away easy and it doesnt do it. Thanks

Sounds like "chatter", which is typical of aggressive clutches.

Basically, there is no slipping and smooth engagement like with a stock disc...so it slips, grabs, slips, grabs...in a quick motion...so it vibrates everything for a second until the flywheel speed is the same speed as the trans speed...basically, once the car is moving.

Could be a loose flywheel, could be lots of things...but it sounds like just a little chatter, which will get better as you drive it more.

EDIT - BTW, this is post number '666' for me...

Hey thanks man. I was thinking that because even though I went with a street disc the pressure plate is very aggressive. Im postive the flywheel isnt lose because it was torqued on to the factory service manual from nissan. Thanks again.
