The new SuperStreet has an article of Nobu's HKS S15...if you haven't seen the 2001 D1 Drift Competions it did pretty well. the car is bad ***...and Nobu is a pretty bad *** driver. he is way too cocky though but hell if i was sponsered by HKS and drove a S-15 i'd probably be also. His S15 is owned by HKS and pumps i believe 430-450hp in the superstreet issue he has some advan 3spokes on but those are not the rims used in the drift comp.

If you wanna see the D1 ...buy option volume 101....it has a lot of hightlights from the different rounds.

Also i just got best motoring vol2....dubbed in english.....this is a kick *** video as well. it covers the new type R integra (rsx) and the new bmw m3, there is a few comparison races with the m3, m5, legacy, wrx-sti version, cefiro(gs400), nsx, porsche 911, R34, and lan evo 7. but the big highlight is Battle of Touge. where they square off RWD vs. AWD to see which is better for touge(mountain pass) racing. it's a Hachi vs WRX-sti, Boss Evo VII vs. S2000 and JGTC WRX vs. WRC S-15. Drift King keichi represents the RWD

PS. these videos are WAY better than that mischeif vid.

Aww, man. The video ends just when the 180SX is coming out. That was so cool, the only drifting I've ever seen before that was in my head while reading Initial D manga. (I've never seen the anime) Thanks for posting that link.PS I'm glad someone besides me understands that Super Street has value too.

yeah, I've got an options video with him in it before his car got sticker-fied, good stuff. Have you noticed lately that Super Street magazine is only doing JDM...I hope they keep it up.:)

super street has more value than import tuner but not as much as sport compact car. there are 2 articles on 240s in this issue. the trend is spreading speeddrift, the one of having a 240 in every issue, now it even made the cover.

sure, its a bad a.ss car but i dont know much about the driver.

yeah that was the best the rx-7 .......that rx7 driver is bad ***.......it's option vol 99 and it's been on sale for a while now.later on in the rx-7 and a orange s-15 face of the rx-7 is all on his *** and then passes him in a drift......he won that round.

and yes i know the cefiro isn't a gs400......just the same chasis.

dude he was being sarcastic cuz i said a cefiro was a gs400...

what i meant to say is a aristo is a gs400 chasis and so that remark was just some deserved sarcasm.

yeah...the aristo is the gs3/400. and the soarer is the sc3/400.

and it's hard to believe s14 pimpin didn't detect the sarcasm, because i was laying in pretty thick.

LOL, you guys got me!

not too keen on Jap chassis codes, but thanks for the info, it did strike me as very odd, but then again you see car makers always crossing platforms (pontiac vibe toyota matrix, talon/eclipse, ect.)

ok, I shut up now!!

:)

p.s. - the soarer is one bad *** machine!!!

Nob is the man he would own superstreet i personally bought this issue because nob IS one of the best and i was dissapointed at the costant comments about his large ego. In my book if u win the D1 you have the right to have a big ego. they made a comment about his nickname NOB - no one better - the statement they made was about how the drift king is better... but the drift king wasnt competing in the D1 now was he. i have several of the option dvds covering this years D1 and i think superstreet is just mad because thier not as cool as Nobuteru.

Unfortunately I don't think you necesarily get the irony of this quote to us Iowans. Don't know how it is around you guys, but there are at least half a dozen cavaliers with shaved emblems, a wing, underbody lighting, hood scoops, tinting, and/or racing stripes in our town. It's sickening.
