quick question guys i searched an no luck

if i run no vaccum to the FPR on my rb25 would it give an negative effecs?the reason i ask is because i put a top mount set up and im running 7psi but the stock injectors for right now until i get my taxes so i figured running no vac would make it run at 41psi fuel pressure.

correct me if im wrong.

sorry for the noob question

If you like your engine you need a vac line hooked up to it. FPR increases 1 psi of fuel pressure per 1 lb of boost. You will most likely lean out if the vac line is not hooked up while driving.

hook up the vac line! it builds fuel pressure as you build boost, why would you not hook it up? why dose running a "top mount" set up require you to have 41 psi at idle and at wot?

Yea the top mount should have nothing to do with it.

You need to run that line to the FPR or you will loose fuel pressure under boost and will lean out.

Well actually the answer is in your name grenade _pull vac- BOOM_. I wouldn't run without it there might be a chance your whole project gets turned upside down.1+ Vac for FPR

if you are really in need of more base pressure which is a bandaid anyways, then crush the can of the fpr a mm or so using a socket to raise the static base pressure.i dont reccomend it as it is beyond ghetto but it does work.
