So my alternator went out (replacing it Saturday), and while it was failing it was making weird things happen to the transmission. I figured I would check to see if the trans was throwing any codes. I discovered that my car does not have a transmission display, or a display on the other side; they are just blank spots. Whats up with that? The car is a 94 TT.

I believe those displays were only produced in 90 and 91, my 95 auto doesn't have it and my 92 started life as an auto and doesn't have it either.

My 90 Canadian model has the left side blank too, no lights at all. Only the right rectangular screen and the bar just below the coolant temp gauge have indicator lamps.
