i have 2007 S auto model. i just got flat tire and seems like i do not have tpms or it is faulty and not detecting low pressure. is it possible that some models don't have it?? i checked in manual all warning lights symbols and by tpms states-"if so equipped" .even when i turn the key to ON without starting the car all warning/indicator lights come on except tpms and abs( i don't have abs on my car ).is there anyone who can confirm that some models don't have it?

Williamk10 is right, Canadian Versa's do not have TPMS. I thought we had it, so when purchasing my winter tires I went to the dealership and asked them. He said 'only the fully loaded models have it'. And I bought my Versa fully loaded with every option. He went out to check and was surprised. He didn't even know that we Canadians do not have the feature. Personally don't really care about it. Seems to be a nuisance for a lot of people. I just check my tire pressure every month on my own.

I have it and I have the 1.6 model. I haven't had any problems with it but I rather not even have it. I think they could have saved the money on that and gave me something more useful like a darn radio. I did get my dealer to put a radio in before I bought my car. I just thought it was funny how tpms is standard and the darn radio is a option.

Canadian dealers don't know about it is because in Canada it is only on higher end cars and not on a 10K Versa.

That's actually funny that you said that. When I originally asked the dealer, I went to ask them last year when purchasing winter tires. I told him that in the book it said something about TPMS and was wondering if I had that on my Versa. He said that only the fully loaded Versa's have it. Well, I have the fully loaded Versa. So he went out and checked my rims/tires, and that is when he realized that I didn't have it.

I find that the dealership doesn't know too much about the Versa's. Everytime I have asked them for a price on an accessory, they have not even known what that accessory is. I've had to bring in pictures of the accessory for them. Weird :S

yeah, it's weird eh? when i went to ask about hood deflector for my versa, they ask if its a hatch or sedan model..like that makes any difference..(i actually asked "does it matter"? they replied :"well , one is for sedan and the other is for hatchback") seems like they think that they have two different fronts!IDIOTS!

Yep.. you're better off without them. My tpms light goes off quite often. For a fix, I just inflate to 40psi and then drive to like 40mph. When light goes away, I bring my tires down to normal. Not a big deal, but still a hassle.
