No Tach from ECU wire

I have a 93' ka24de and the tach used to work and stopped one day. I have tried to find answers but cannot seem to get an answer. When the tach stopped working I bought a aftermarket tach and hooked it up to the ecu wire. Both tachometers do not work. Do I have a speed sensor out? Is another wire in the engine bay worth hooking up to?

try hooking your aftermarket tach straight to the igniter coil. I believe its the light green wire on the 3 pin plug. have you tried testing to see if the tach wire from the ecu is giving out any signal.

Yeah the signal is negative if I remember right. If that even makes sense.
