I completely agree.
Once I had a plummer that I hired...he stained my living room carpet and left the cold water supply line dripping in my spare bedroom. When my wife called about the issues they said it would be a week or two before they would be able to come out and we would have to be available for a 5 hour window...and we were going to be charged for it.
Bad service happens in any industry. But I personally feel that social media, sites like AngiesList and Yelp have decreased the amount of crap these people are allowed to get away with. Although there are just some awful customers out there, who even when all is well need to complain.

It does but this level of scratch might not be depending on angle and depth.
I originally thought this thread was about sitting on a screwdriver and damaging a drivers seat, but the paint is an awful thing to damage too.
