Anyone ever hear of this? Saw it in the local newspaper. It said you can use spray on no-stick cooking spray on the front of your car and supposedly you wont have luv bugs drying on the car causing marks.... would the spray do anything to paint?

I was once told from a florida local to put vaseline on the front of the car. Not sure how that'll effect the paint. Did it on my old truck and it worked. They wiped right off.

the greasy look is a small price to pay when compared to the 'driving all day during luv bug season' look.

Haven't tried it, but I just got a new can of Pam. I drive in the dark 90% of the time, and my car gets washed twice a week, on the front bumper and mirriors.

I'll leave the Vaseline and KY to you guys...
