Hi,
I'm having a problem getting a signal to the coils on my 04 sentra 1.8...
So here's what happened, my car always ran perfect I decided to replace the water pump and chain guides on it a few days ago. I drove the car in my garage replaced the parts (did not remove the chain so the timing stayed the same) finished the job and when I went to start it my battery got weak so I replaced it..After installing the new battery the car cranks perfect and gets gas but there is no spark. I've used a spark plug tester, test light, meter and no signal to the coils. All the fuses and relays are good, there is nothing unplugged or cut at all.
I'm hoping someone can help me and has a solution, or if someone has a wiring diagram so I can double check wires themselves.. thanks

Scan for codes yet?

Also, are you SURE the timing didn't change with the guides were off.

Check the wiring to the Cam and Crank sensors, if the timing is not off, take a close look at these. Try to get a hold of a code reader and let us know what it says! :)

There is no codes at all when I took the guides of, the chain did not move.. even if it moved a little it would still fire up. All of the wires are ok. I replaced the sensors and still nothing.
