Hey there guys, Im just wrapping up a project and need to get this thing out of here. As the title states, I put a 95 otor into a 91 240sx. And Im getting a clicking when I go to start it. I looked thru the plugs, and the problem I assume is the front engine harness. The wires are differnt, and I wanted to know if anyone has dne this and knows how to replug this? I searched, and looked thru the FSM, but it gives no breakdows of the plugs themselves....I would like to avoid swapping the upper intake mani, so a diagram or soemthing would be nice. Thanks alot for reading.

Ok then, I guess I cant wait for a reply......I tore the manifold off, since its only 9 bolts and 2 nuts. So now Im waiting for a new intake gasket, to put the s13 manifold back on. I guess I will update this post when I get the gasket............Thanks for coming out!

check to make sure that the battery is charged. if it is coming from the starter you either have a weak battery or a significant voltage drop somewhere in you system. check your ground and power connections.

Ok I swapped the s13 manifold onto the motor, and still the same click.
The battery I know its charged, I guess I will run through my grounds again. And I will see if I get power to the starter later, It might possibly be a bad starter....Who knows??

Will the car try to start if I have the distributer timing a little off?
Are s13 and s14 plug wire different..i.e. will it give a no start click?

What is clicking, it should be obvious if its the starter or not.

Its just one click, like as if the battery is totally dead.

And we have IGNITION!! The motor started today, and runs perfect! It was a bad starter, should have known. The original starter has too much corrosion on the terminals, so I swapped them out and it is good to go. Good thing I have tons of extra parts!!
