i blew my fuel pump fuse installing an e-fan and now i don't have spark???

i rechecked fuel and compression and thats not an issue. i rechecked my ecu to see if i was getting power to it by checking the red light. i checked and the red light stays on until i try to start the car. it just cranks but doesn't start.

i relocated my battery to trunk and ground out my battery. when i tried to start my car i got a spike on my tach on my gauge cluster. it spiked to about 2000rpm. the only problem i see is that my dash connector wasn't plugged in. so is it possible i shorted my ecu.

there are two points on the stock ground wire that were connected in the engine bay. i only have one connected right now. could that have sent a surge through my ecu shorting it?

it is possible you shorted the ecu if you don't have a good motor to chassis ground

Its probably your ECU, or possibly ignitor? Like mentioned, you might have shorted out your ECU also.

does the red light, on my ecu, going out after i try and start my car mean i shorted it?
