Ok, I pulled the motor to replace the chras and the check ball jet in the block. Put it all back together today and I've got no fire.

- Ecu is giving a code 55
- cleaned the PTU connections (already had contact grease in them)
- grounds are good
- the plugs are wet with fuel, so the CAS is working.
- main fuses are good

What am I forgetting?

Check to make sure your factory alarm isn't activated.

Check to see if you have power at the coil pack connectors. If no power, then connectors near the drivers side fuse box, near the head lamp.

Feeling sheepish... Forgot one plug. Troubleshooting is rough when you spent hours putting in the motor, transmission, exhaust, etc. thanks guys.,

It's all good man, stuff like this happens when you do big projects. After having my interior/dash completely torn apart and put back together (~15-20 hours of work) for a heater core replacement and then not having the car start was a PITA. No start at all, good battery, good starter, fuel pump would prime, no security problem, everything on the engine is new.... eventually realized I had the shifter in R instead of P.
