I have an 89 sohc 240sx(149k). I was driving and the spark cut out, I replaced the Ignition Coil, Ignition Control Module, and the Crank Position Sensor. I have power all the way to the coil, but then no spark coming from the coil. The last thing I can think of is the Knock Sensor?

Coils? You should only have one no? I don't believe that s13's had individual cols.

Ah. My bad. I must have mis-read it yesterday. What type of coil did you put in? If there's no spark coming out of the coil, double check that your connections are correct and if they are, I would take the coil back and have them replace it as defective. I'd stick with Wells or a NAPA branded one.

Its not the coil, I pulled one from my friends coil out of his running car, still no spark. The only thing I can think of is that the Ignition Control Module and Crank Position Sensor were bad at the same time. Other then that the only thing I havnt checked is if there is power going to the Sensor in the distributor. My thoughts are that everything that makes the spark is in working order, but some sensor Somewhere is telling it to not make spark. Could the knock sensor do this?

there is a resistor/condenser in the ignition circuit. i dont understand the cct cant offer much insight. the condensor is one thing you are told to check though.

I tried that, from what I believe the piece that broke is the one that goes down into the block, so im gona have to tear down the front of the motor to get to it
