hello everyone here is my new problemcar wont start, there is no spark at all, and the red led on the ecu doesnt turn on when i turn the ingnition key on, any ideas ?dont know anybody with a s13 sr20det around here to test ignitor or ecu

ecm no power or no ground. it is 99% chance a wiring issue. has the car run before with sr20?

yes the car was runing before with the sr20det, could it be the ignitor, how do you test it?>how can i check the ground for the ecm, where is the relay for the ecm?thanks

i dont think the ignitor could in any way cause ecm to not power up. the ecm relay should be in the stock position from before the swap(really it depends on how you wired your swap). ecm grounds are on the intake manifold. http://www.sr20det.nismo.org/srtech.htmthere is the pinout

this is what i did, i pluged the KA ECU and the red light came on , also the fuel pump worked when i turned the ignition key on, it wasnt working with the SR ECU anyways i knew the car wasnt going to start but i was just curious and couldnt wait to get another sr20det ECU to test it.so can I say now that my ECU is gone?thanks for helping me out with my problem bro.

your ka ecm lit up when you plugged it in to the sr harness? man, i still cant say for sure that its the ecm but its a good bet.
