I have just finished most of my turbo install on a '91 KA. I went to try and start her up but we aren't getting any spark at all..

I think something must have gotten disconnected but we just are so focused that we can't think outside the box to see what the problem can be. Everything appears to be connected

Also, we had to move the ignition coil... there may be a problem with the ground to it. But again I don't know, the 240sx ignition is out of my range of knowledge.. someone please gove me some advice...

Thanks..

Check plug gap, Check the plugs, check your wires, check the coil wire. What are you running for engine management? Are you sure you timed it correctly? Whats your base timing set to?

Well I got it started a few days ago.. so I took it and got the exhaust put on.. but I haven't been able to get it started since.. it will crank over once or twice and then make a large clunk noise.

I kind of figured the worst >> maybe my timing chain broke and now the pistons are slapping the valves.. put I checked, the chain isn't broken. I think my starter might have gotten messed up when they welded the downpipe on. Because it doesn't seem to be disengaging from the flywheel.

I also have a lot of gasoline in the oil pan so my injectors must not be seated correctly or something... I can hear dripping for a sec if I just turn the ignition on..

Well, lets see..I am using an afc-2 (370cc injectors)I haven't changed the timing yet, I just want it to startThe car just ran like 2 days ago so I assume the plugs and wires are all good.. but I checked anyway.

Wow, I guess I am going to be driving the beater for a while.. I hoped to be done by tomorrow. :(

I have a clunk, a leak, and no spark.. this sucks

Make sure the distributor shaft is still in one piece and didnt break and fall down. As far as the fuel going into the oil...thats bad...

everything's cool.. I figured it out. Just need to get her tuned now. How much timing should I pull for 10psi?

"cool" wasn't the best descriptive word.. the injectors started leaking a few days after installing them (actually, they didn't start leaking at all until I got it back form teh exhaust shop), so I hydrolocked it a couple times.

It's a good thing I planned on rebuilding anyway.. :/ cause now I pretty much have to

I know that makes me sound like a dumb*** but I have never experienced hydrolock before.. I didn't even think you could damage an engine that bad with just the starter spinning it..
