no spark need help

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

i got a S13 with a Ka24DE swap one day the car over heated then it started to sputter then died. at first there was no spark threw the wires changed the dizzy and it had no effect i dont know what the problem i have no spark let me know thanks

Check your coil, and fuses. If that doesn't work start checking ground wires and other things that may not be a direct link to a spark plug wire but u think might affect it.

yes check spark plug wires spark plugs themselves and fuses...and by the way why did your car overheat?

thanks...well it used to be my bros car and he took it to some whack *** mechanic and he didnt tighten the watter pump correctly and it was slowey leaking watter

Still no spark i checked all fuses connections and even got a set of plugs and wires but nothing still no spark and how do i know this i stuck a screwdriver in the spark plug wire and i didnt get shoked any other ideas?

you really are dopey, you could have just taken the plug and wire and put it close to a ground and it woulda been safer. your coil is probably bad. check power to the coil and power to the distributor. Obviously its an electrical problem, keep pokin around you will find it.

i dont have a coil engine is out of an S14 and it would have been safer but still gotta know for sure

you still have a coil its just built into your distributor. that being said you might need a new distributor.

you have a swapped motor are all the wires in your harness properly spliced in and everything, maybe something is loose and not giving you your spark.
