Hey guys, i recently removed my sr20det to be get rebuilt. Although it did have a spun bearing it did still run which is why I am confused. I put it back in after getting it back, went to start it up and only got spark in Cylinder #1. To see if it was the coils I put the ones from cylinders 2-4 on tcylinder 1 and they all got spark, so its not the coils. I also used a ignitor chip from a running car so its not that. I also used a full splitfire coil setup including the harness also from a running car. This actually caused the coil in #1 to get extremely hot, but if i switched to a stock coil it didnt get hot. But still no spark. So i need your guys' help because me and my buddy are rather stumped. Thanks!

I would start checking the harnesses, and the connections leading to the packs, then try a continuity test from the pack to the end of the harness, from the pavks that aren't getting the spark :gotme

So I decided to change out the ecu and she started up. But now it idles kinda roughly, the throtte is unresponsive, and then it dies out. Any ideas?

If you just rebuilt it, you'll need to do a break in to seat the rings. The car will run a bit sluggish until things seat in better. If you're having idle and dying issues, make sure timing has been set correctly.

I set the timing already to make sure it was at tdc and it is now. Could it be the maf maybe
