'Sup guys, finally got the engine in! Got the wiring and stuff done, and went to start the car and....no spark. D:
Checked all grounds, they seem to be fine, checked all wires, they were plugged in.
Stepdad looked at the ecu and apparently from what it says in the book that there is an LED light that is suppose to blink or turn on when you cut the ignition key on, but mine doesn't do that. We took a volt meter and checked and there's no power to the wires going to the coil and distributor. Could be a wiring problem? Bad ecu? I'm stumped so I figured I'd asked around on the local forums and see what peoples thoughts were. The coil and distributor are new so I don't know. It's got the right wires in the spark plugs, but I dunno what to think. It's not getting any kind of spark whatsoever. So Nico, any thoughts?

Does your ecu have power and grounded? Im guessing the motor is turning over right?

It should. I mean, is there a specific place where it's suppose to be grounded? It's turning over, but not like it's wanting to get spark. if that makes sense.

You don't need an ECU to turn it over, the start signal has nothing to do with the ECU. Download the EL FSM (see my sig) and check out harness routing and pin outs. Perhaps the ECU fuse went.
