Hi, my friends 92 240 isnt getting spark at all and we cant figure out why. The ignition module is good, the ignition coil is good, the harness seems to be good from the module to the coil we also checked from pin 3 on the harness to the ECU to the module and it seems to not be shorted. Anyone have any other ideas why it will crank and not get spark?

How did you test for no spark? What do you mean by module?

tried to ground the plug from the ignition coil to the chassis, and also used a timing gun on that same plug. Ignition module=ignitor chip I hear chip for some cars, and usually see module when you try to buy one from a dealer or OEM so I assume they are the saem

Are you sure the coil is good? If the coil is getting the signals it's supposed to then the coil should fire.

Yeah the coil is good. Nissan found the problem, turns out it was a short in the harness. Thx for the input though.
