alright. i've been having some problems, heres where im at now. at the coilpack plugs i have the 12v and solid grounds. but the wires that come from the ignitor are giving me nothing. with the ignitor pluged in, i have 12v before the ignitor, the ecu side with 5 wires, but nothing coming out the other side. the ignitor is a brand new z32, and it is wiring in correctly. as far as continuity, from the coilpacks to the ignitor is good, from the other side of the ignitor to the ecu is also fine. on my ecu the red light just stays on when i try to pull codes, does that mean my ecu is bad?? i have tested the cas by checking voltage while rotating it and it stays between .1 and 5 volts. so i think thats good. anybody have any ideas on why im still not getting spark?? what kind of readings should i be getting at the coilpacks from the ignitor??

If the red light is on then u have it turned all the way to the left. counter clockwise. Turn it all the way to the right ( clockwise ) will it stops the back again ( counterclockwise ) and it should start to blink. If it doesnt something isnt right. It should blink 5 times slow and 5 times fast ( Code 55 ) meaning system OK

thats how i've been doing it. the light just stays on and doesnt go off. i've heard that means its in limp mode and i've also heard that means my ecu is no good. does anyone know FOR SURE if the cas controls both fuel and spark timing, because i definitly am getting fuel and am definitly not getting spark, some people say one way some people say the other, if i knew for sure i might be able to either eliminate that or try a different one and see if it helps, but i dont wana change it if it is working properly.

Disconnect the fuel injectors and take out the coil pack and plugs then put the plugs back in the coils without being in the engine place the plugs on the intake manifold with the thred on the manifold itself and have someone crank the car. U Will see spark every few secs. Uplugin the fuel injectos will stop them from sprayin so u dont shoot flames if the vapor hit the sparks
