no spark getting fuel
my son and i have been trying to get his 1989240sx running we hired a auto shop to do the work they went out of busness before it was done i have been working on it my self it turns over getting gas but no spark can anyone help me with this

take the coil wire off the distributor cap and see if it has spark there if theres no spark check the coil. check all fuses as well. if theres a spark then check the cap and rotor for damage white residue on them. could be a the distributor but take it one step at a time good luck

Make sure the battery has a good charge, my sr would crank over and had fuel but wouldn't fire because my battery was dead even tho the engine sounded like it was turning over strong. after thati'd get a volt tester and pin point the last place the harness has power. possible coil packs fried? check ecu for codes too.
