no spark can anyone help?

Hi there I am new to this forum and I am looking for some advice I have a fairly modified 200sx s13 ca18det, The problem is that I have no spark,I have changed out all the plugs and coil packs and that does'nt make any difference, I have also had the RAC out and they could only suggest the cam/crank sensor was shot however I swapped that for a spare i had lying around and no luck, If the spindle on the sensor is turned manually I get an injector pulse but when attached to the engine nothing happens! does any one have a clue?

did you check all your grounds ?

Sounds like you could have a problem with the keyway on your exhaust cam, so that the CAS has nothing engauging it. Check that out.

thanks for the key way idea, I just checked it but it seems solid enough and it turns over with the engine, the battery is charged fully and all my grounds are good, I recently removed the air con pump and rad would that have made any difference?

no that wouldn't do anything, it really sounds to me like a grounding issue to me. Are you sure about your grounds being connected cleanly and correctly?

yeah I'm sure, sadly after a second check of all the ground wires I still got nothing, poss need a cpu reset ? do you know how that is done?
