no spark after engine swap

Okay, here's what happened. We finished up an engine swap from a 1990 auto into a 1989 auto (both ka24e) and it started up and ran. It wouldn't rev past 2500 though. The next day, I go to start it, and it cranks but doesn't start. There's no power going to the plugs, and the coil wire doesn't arc either. I thought it not revving past 2500 would be a MAF problem, but why would it not get spark all of a sudden?

Also when key is left in on position after starting, there's a LOUD ticking noise coming from the back of the ECCS unit.

The not reving past 2500 id definatley a MAF problem.
