No Sound

No Sound
I lost the sound from my stereo for some reason. The power is on the FM and AM are visible, the cd changer works, but no sound. I checked the 2 fuses in the fuse box and they look good. Any ideas? The tape deck doesn't work either, but then again, I never tried it before.

I took the car to a few places today and called some people and everyone says the head unit is the culprit or possibly the amps, that's based my description of the problem. I checked the 2 fuses in the fuse panel that are in the dash and they're ok. I was told that there's a 3rd fuse that I should be looking for, but I have no idea where to look.
