No sound on a cold morning

First post. Minor problem.05 Pathfinder with a 6 cd stereo with bose speakers. On a cold morning the radio turns on but no sound comes from the speakers until about 20 minutes of driving and the car is warmed up. Same with the factory DVD. Headphones have sound but nothing from the speakers. Has anyone ever had a problem like this?

Simply sounds like your Bose amplifier isn't turning on. I would try to get it covered under warranty.

The Car is out of warranty and I would rather not go to the dealer anyway.It is more of pain in the neck then a major problem. Anything I can do?

do you know how to use a DMM? most likely the amps arn't turning on.
