New to the forum here, in need of some help. Ive tried searching the net, including searching all over this site and have found some of what i need.. but not all. And also i want to make certain.
Here's the deal: I have a 1994 infiniti q45 i just got recently, and was installing a jensen indash dvd player (flip out screen) ... i know for a fact the radio works great.
I have everything wired up correctly, and i got power to the unit, but no sound, neither cd nor radio.
Now i was reading about the bose systems.. and the two rear speakers are bose so im taking it that i have the bose system? (clarion stock head unit)
Based on what ive read, i want to make sure i have this correct...
since each of the bose speakers have their own little amplifier, i either need to rewire each speaker individually to the head unit, or buy new speakers and run new wires through out the car to the head unit... or buy that adapter thing right? (can someone provide a link and info on the adapter please!)
Are their any other options im missing?
I guess nothing can be simple.. What option would be the best to go with, new speakers and rewiring everything?
Thanks in advance.
pic of car, pic does not do it justice, much much better in person and rainy day mixed w/ a ****ty camera.
