Yeah what that actually is, is a "safety" feature. Basically when the pre-amp processor senses a spike or fq shft that is out of spec, that could potentially damage the speakers, it'll cut the output. You can check it out on th BOSE technology website.
There's a song on one of my MP3 discs that I can get this to happen about 1/2 the time. Usually a reset (off/on) fixes it..give it a few seconds...
