i have searched the boards - with very little help - i have a rb25det SII with a z32 maf in a 91' s13 coupe, at fist i was using a q45 maf - borrowed the z32 maf from a friend with a sr20det (it worked in his car) - right now it will start, idle(not very smooth), and drive - but wont get out of limp mode the only code that is coming up is 12 note* that with the q45 maf i would get between 0.54 - 0.56 volts return to ecm - but wont start it will try and just keep spinning - with the z32 it will start and run in limp mode i don'(that i know of) have any air leaks and i am running rich

any help please

Use the ohmmeter to check continuity between the ECU and MAFS. I had a problem with the wiring when I first swapped.

It sounds like you did nothing else other than swap out the Mafs and hope they would work. MAFs are not plug and play. You need a SAFC or somthing like it to translate the signal for your ECU.

Why did you swap MAFs to begin with? Go back to the Q maf and you wont have any issues...
