Love my '06 M35X so when the car had a softball size dent in the quarter panel I got it repaired along along with a re-do of the front bumper. The shop did a great job but the sat radio wasn't working after I picked it up it and I didn't realize it until later that evening after the shop was closed. Cost me $55 bucks to have the dealer diagnose it ( that was a deal for a Saturday visit to the dealer) and get it working again with a warning that if it stops working in the next week or so the module will have to be replaced. Now I know in order to make the repair the shop had to do some welding of "pins or something" to attach the "gizmo" to pull out the dent.

I'm not sure about this, BUT I would definitely bring it up to the body shop. If that doesn't work, I would file a BBB (Better Business Bureau) complaint. I've had similar issues when I dropped off my car for simple work at dealerships or other reputable shops. Every time I've always had the "problem" fixed by the company that was working on my car. I hope this helps and you get everything sorted out.
