The reverse lights on my 240 haven't worked since I've owned it.. I replaced the sensor on the transmission, checked the fuses, bulbs, and the wiring looked fine. Whats next? The housing for the reverse lights both look a little corroded, I cleaned them up the best I could with emery cloth. Where can I buy new housings, I'm guessing I should just replace them. Anything else I could check? Oh everything else works fine on the car, except it takes a few minutes of driving before the speedo comes on. Oh and its an 89 hatch

A multimeter is best, but you can also use a test light to check power AND ground to and from the switch and to the light assemblies.

Like mentioned above, don't overlook the ground side. Luckily it's just a light bulb, so there is no complex wiring about it.
