It seems like your rev match may not work going into first either, if it feels like a drastic shift. Mine feels same way. And i agree, under normal driving, there isn't much need for manual into first, but for screwing off, i need it. Particularly for spirited drives on downhill canyon roads with tight turns, range of 20-50 mph, the brakes can't quite handle the abuse on their own.reefscape15 wrote:I haven't noticed shifting down into 1st, but definitely it does rev match 5th through 2nd.
