I'm a new owner of a nissan altima 2007 that I bought about 3 weeks ago, i last week had the instrument panel replaced as my vehicle information display went out. After spending $600 to get my local nissan dealer to replace the cluster Everything works wonderfully on my VID. But after reading the owners manual it said that if u accidentally leave the parking brake on it should display a message on the VID "Release parking brake". And mine stays at the MPG meter and only my brake light comes on. Is this normal and the owners manual was wrong or did the dealer not hook up the cluster correctly?

I am no pro but Altimas have a lot of problems with computer oriented problems, such as my "bad tire sensor flashing " light always come on, I went to Costco they reset my tire lights, they come on again. Screw it.

Just to let you know buddy that's your TMPS (Tire Pressure Monitoring system) which indicates a low tire. If it flashes that indicates that the TMPS is malfunctioning and needs to be serviced at your nearest Nissan dealer. That's why Costco couldn't reset it because a steady on light means low tire, and blinking/flashing indicates the system is not working. Not trying to sound like a Nissan tech or anything but I memorize all my cars owners maunals.
