Wow, I wish I could have had a car like this when I was in my lower 20's let alone as a teenager. I just turned 34, but almost everyone I hang out with is in there lower 20's, it's a consequence of being in the Navy.

How in the heck do the kids buy these things at 16-21? Silver spoons? In hock up to their eyeballs? Still living with parents and have NO bills? No school expenses? The concept of saving up for a house or family one day not even on the horizon?

Gee.... This car is at least two notches past that first car peg.

Well this being my 7th car and me having my own career for the last 3 years, is that enough viable information to pass off being able to afford the coupe?

This is an old, old thread. But I laugh because it implies (by the demographic range) that interest in A/Cs should extend not far beyond 23! LOL I wish I could remember 23.... or even 33... or 43!

29, turn 30 later this year

as for the age of the younger crowd buying the a/c, thats who the car was designed to encourage to buy it. You act like its a Bimmer or Lexus or something high end. Its an Altima, they are supposed to be affordable, and for the most part they are.

deng these kids got it good . . . i say kids lol, i'm only 24 myself, feel like an old man in this thread though. my first car in 2002 was a 1989 mercury TOPAZ (thats right, a 13 year old, economy american car lol) that our mechanic GAVE US just to get it off his property. Can you imagine how proud I was rolling up to my high school with my brand new to me flat paint PoS car:(thats just a google image, but my car was the EXACT SAME except for the front end, had tape on the back, flat (no gloss) paint, dents all over it, foliage inside, lol complete mess)

Then in 2004, when the exhaust fell out the bottom of my topaz, i got an 11 year old mazda 626. The parents picked up that one, I was neck deep in my education at that point, think it was like 1200? lol

Then I graduated, got a job, saved for 6 months, and got my AC, with nothing to trade in . . . and bbooooyyyyyyy do I have an appreciation and new understanding of ANYONE with a new car who purchased it entirely themselves.

Big 'welcome to the real world' eye opener for me haha
