No RB20 Coilpacks...wtf is this thing?

I bought an RB20 and it didnt have the coilpacks i noticedso i phoned the guy up and we met up and he gave me this wacky setup...no coilpacks still but an ignitor and some other thing.Noobish question but wtf is this?Anyone seen this before?

Waste spark setup. Depending on the coil pack could be an upgrade.

Ok i see.I was like wtf is this??That pointed me in the right direction to work some google searches haha.Thanks.So will this setup cause any more difficulty with wiring??And should i just mount it on the firewall?
