Hi Everyone, I have a 1995 Infiniti J30. I recently got it and the radio didn’t work. I changed the fuse yesterday and the radio worked fine. When I turned it on today the radio worked but there was no display. How can I get the display to work again? Thank you!

Welcome to NICOclub Forums, and welcome to the j30 family.... now to address your issue...

1st, check the dimmer switch and make sure its up all the way.2nd, replace it for an aftermarket one, or a referbished one(if you wanna go with the stock headunit)

these clarion headunits are know to go bad. from what i have heard, its a matter of cold solder joints. so if ur a electronics wiz, and you wanna try, just open it up and rewet all the solder joints, and maybe add a little bit more for some good measure. but it will save time if you just replace the headunit for an aftermarket one that will do much more, like have an ipod hookup(if you have an ipod) or other audio in sources, maybe even a nav system if ya wanna drop around $500+ for a really good one. just make sure you dont cut up the factory harness, get a harness adapter, they normally run like $10 on ebay, something like that.... hope that helps ya out... enjoy your j30

I think that J30s come with a Bose stereo stock, not a Clarion.

But my Civic comes with a Clarion.

BOSE name on a clarion headunit. Only the speakers are actually made by BOSE.
