no qr25 in the engine forum?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

man there really isn't a large following for the qr engine is there. this is my first nissan and i know its a new engine but i'd thought there'd be more info on the web than what ive found. does anyone know of any online resources that depict the differneces between the older qr's and the 07 up spec v version?

What is it that you want to know exactly? I know that all of the foul ups from the previous gen QRs have been fixed in the new one. A revised intake along with a more aggressive cam grind and revised engine management IIRC account for the increased HP.

Sort of. Intake, head design, revised variable timing control, and the ECU tweaks are the big points of difference in terms if power, but the internals of the engines are a bit different too. Nissan really went back to the drawing board with the QR for 07.

That said, we didn't need a QR forum for quite awhile, but we're reconsidering the idea at this very moment.

edit: Scratch that, turns out we've added one while I've been out of town. Link will reside in my signature at least until we get one up top of Sentra Gen. There's also a link in the engine's section of the main forum list.
