no pulsing on injecter rail.

hi all, was looking for some help. my 240 after driving in lots of rain wont start.its not gettig fuel.i removed the filter,cranked over engine.lots of pressure from the main line<tank>i then checked for power going to injecters,which i have.i used a side marker bulb.i then cranked over engine,the bulb did not blink.i suspected it would have pulsed,it did noti did open my air filter box and primed with fuel the filter it ran for a minute as i guessed it would then died.whats wrong,what other trouble shooting to do next.thanks,sean

ecm not supplying the ground. be carefull powering lamps with injector power/ground since the ecm is there up in the mix. common cause of ecm cutting injectors would be a bad dist but then you would have no spark too. i would reccomend swapping ecms and see if that helps at all. do you have access to another ecm to try?

hi chris ecm,do you mean the computer?the car is new to me,where would it be located.is it under the drivers seat?or under the dash?also my car is the 16 valve,i do have a parts car,its a 12 valve.are these compatable.thanks,sean

can u help me out by telling me about how to set my timing on a sr20 det and if yhe tps sensor have to be un plugged before adjusting

seany I assume you've already checked all fuses and links?

yeah computer/ecm. it is easy to get to. pass side kick panel is the only thing in front of it. many things are interchangable between cars but not engine stuff like ecm.
