It is more intensive than what you might want to do.
Since there's no prewire, you would have to essentially "ADD" the missing wires between the IPDM (for power) and to the body (for ground). If the bulb voltage is too high, bulb life is compromised. You also risk damaging the vehicle's wiring or components and possibly voiding the warranty or causing something to short out or catch something on fire.Instead, you could always order a replacement FEM (front end module) harness that has the fog lamp branch and swap out the old harness. Your dealer can help identify the correct part number but the part will probably run you a few hundred dollars. Then, there's putting it in. I've done it before.
Then, you'll have to replace the combination switch. This is the simple bit.So is installing the actual fog lamp assembly.
My recommendation. Don't do it unless you know what you're doing and you're willing to take the risk. Done right, everything will be ok.
