So for years now i havent had much power to the wheels (92 ka24de) and im still wondering what it could be, its not the fuel pump, its not a vacuum leak, and i just pulled my egr, aiv, and carbon canister, no change except i know have a rock solid idle. any one have any ideas what it could be? My injectors look clean, and i run seafoam through the tank pretty often so they should work fine, also could not enough transmission fluid cause low power? (the car goes when its in gear and the acellerator pedal isnt pressed, so its not so bad that i have to gas it to move) any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, low or burnt Auto trans fluid can cause a loss of power to the wheels. Do a full trans service and re-check. It may fix it and at worst it will not hurt.

i serviced the transmission not too long ago, and it still had the same problem, the fluid in it still looks new, and yes its running on all four cylinders. and to give you an idea of what i mean by no power, i drove an 04 corolla the other day, and it had more power than my 240. Also, it's not the CTS, or the TPS, the cts is new, and i checked the TPS myself.

did a compression test, checked out fine, have cleaned maf a couple of times, both of which no crud or any discoloration of the fluid i was cleaning it with. and i did use MAF cleaner and not whatever i had laying around. could the maf possibly just be getting weak? im not 100% of the mechanics of that particular sensor, so im not sure if its possible for it to "start going bad" or if they either work or dont, but like i said its been that way for a very long time. if that helps at all.

Don't know if you fix your problem yet but just in case, you said the injector where fine and didn't leek, when u install the fuel rail back are all injectors sitting right, cause that was one on my main problem when I had no power, I would press on the accelerator and it sound like i was running on three cylinders, when back home and check and I could see my injector #4 not sitting right so i took out the fuel rail again and set it right where I couldn't see the silver or anything on the injector sticking out. when for a test drive bam power, and when u said it had no power to the wheel, what did u mean, like it lag when u press on the gas,or it just couldn't feel the push back to your seat power.

The injectors are seated fine, and it idles fine, runs fine, sounds fine, just doesn't have that "push you into the seat" feel to it anymore. I couldn't even spin the tires anymore when i still had bald tires (definitely cant do it anymore). i used to be able to spin them like crazy just by stomping the pedal. pleaaaaaaaase any more suggestions? im open to all ideas lol. i want to fix this so bad.
