My wife drives a 2005 Murano and coming home from work yesterday the car died on her. She went to start it and nothing. I came to her rescue and jumped the car and it started. I was able to drive it about 3 miles and it died again. I jumped it 5 time before I got it home. It seems that when the battery is low or dead the car does not transfer power to the transmisson. My guess is the battery is either bad or the alternator is bad. Does a dead or low battery cause the computer to not be able to tell the transmission to power up?
