no power to the last 2 cylinders on my sr!???!!

So i fired the car back up for the first time in a few months and the first 2 cylinders from the front which i believe are 1 and 3 are getting spark..and the last 2...2 and 4 are getting nothing...i switched the coil packs around and no luck...so they are not getting power....any idea??? anyone...ive got a buddy of mine bringing me his coil pack harness and his ignitor chip...should i look for anything else..ECU???

Make sure your valve cover is grounded well. One of mine wasnt firing and three were because of a poor ground to the valve cover.

the thing that particular to me is that the first 2 fire from the front and the rear 2 dont...its just very odd...

hey check your wiring on your Ignitor Chip it may be wired wrong

ignitor chip works fine..i switched out another one and the same thing happend...i also switched out the coil pack harness and no luck...could a bad CAS also cause this? or a bad ecu?

Check the wiring at the back of the ECU...Especially the wires that you do not have to hook up to get the SR to run. Make sure that they are not shorted or touching. This is what happened to me and that is what the problem was...after I separated them, it fired on all four cylinders. If that is not it...possibly the ECU or bad CAS...

will do..i am leaning toward a bas CES but i do have another one to replace it with..did u have the same exact problem???

Yes...exact same problem...1 and 2 fired but 3 and 4 had no spark...and that fixed it...it could be a bad CAS but just eliminate the simple, easy, and free things first.

There could be a short in the wires from ignitor to the coil pack. I had the same problem and that's what it was. Just check continuity on them to eliminate that.

will do today..i put in a different CAS last night and i will try to fire it up with that one today...i will also check the wiring today...if worse comes to worse...il end up doing individual msd coils....
