no power to start & key circuit?/

I have a Datsun 720 x tra cab 4 x 4 im restoring -new to me -never worked on one before. I have installed the rebuilt engine - working on wiring-I didnt remove it= Now - with hot battery- I have no starter working( will not crank-with key?)-also no fuel pump (elect) working also. I do not have a good wiring skematic either= what i need is a skematic -& what is an inhibitor relay- what does it do ? never hear of such a thing before? seems i have no power to dash. On this truck- is the fuseable links in a box close to battery? my repair book shows this. Thanx,matt=

So it ran before, but not now? That seems odd if you didn't touch any wiring, but the relays are those ugly looking things above the fuse box by your left leg on the driver's side. That would be where to start. You mention that you have no fuel or starter and dash as well, what about lights, etc.? Does anything currently work?
