Hey guys. I have a 92 convertible that I recently put a rb20 in. I got everything hooked up, but I dont have any power to the ignition. No relay kicking or anything. However, I do have power to fuel pump, lights, and other accessories. Any ideas? Thanks

do you have spark and do you have injectors?

if you have neither it is either CAS, ecu, or wiring problem.

Either that, or you might have a relay that is bad, Check all your fuses and relays, and make sure they click/ arent burnt out

heres the thing. the rb20 was installed in my 89 coupe. was running at the time, then I took it and put it in my 92 convertible. i think its just a bad relay or wiring for sure. but just cant trace it.

suppposed to be a ground for the alternator from the ignition switch. Start there. I.E. When the igntion relay has power from ign switch the alternator should be receiving 12vdc it has a relay itself which closes and cranks the engine. If it was from an automatic and now you have a manual you won't have that 12vdc to close the relay. If you need more help contact me at [email protected]
