No Power to he Left Side Headlight

Car - 1993 Nissan 240sx (S13) Fastback

Hmm, ok so I noticed my left side headlight was out and disassembled the headlight housing assembly. I tired a different H4 bulb and it did not come on. I also noticed the H4 female plug was melted in one of the three slots.

So is it the female H4 plug outlet that’s shot? How can I make sure it is before I go hacking it off, like what fuses can I check? As well I can't get the damn white box apart that is next to the fuse kick panel, does that have any crucial fuses in it that might have blown?
