no power to ecu

as the title says one day i was driving and all the sudden the car died i looked down at my PFC and the light was off as if the key was off but my guages and everything else still works the car still turns over but the ecu never lites up iv tryed 3 ecu's same thing for all can anybody help i need my daily driver back

Sounds like a broken connection somewhere.. Start checking your wiring

LOL... You think KA wires are different than SR wires and don't break? A lot of sense that makes.

46 ECCS backup power - Red
47 ECCS power - Black/White
48 ECCS ground - Black

My money is on a bad ground... ;)

i no KA wires can brake 2 but thair are a lot less connections to go wrong thanks for the wire coler help tho

Care to explain how there are less connections? I have no prejudice against people liking KAs... But I do NOT like false info..If you look, I posted the SR ECU pinout in this forum. Find a KA pinout, and I'll guarantee there are just as many wires.. Especially considering, when you do the wiring harness conversion, you don't add anything.. You just cut and solder the SR's plug in in place of the KA's plug.

maybe my wiring is just a hack job but on a stock ka has uncut wirers, i have extended wirers cut wirers going to nothing spliced wirers i just feel if i had un swaped motor i would have less wiring problems

That's because of the person who did the job, not the motor. You should consider investing less than $300 in a brand new harness premade for your swap. No random splicing or anything. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

Putting a KA-T in is like bondage. It seems fun at first, but eventually, its pretty open that its just making you butt-hurt.
