I bought a z off of marketplace and the seller said it only needed a starter. I got there and I could turn it so I thought it couldn’t be that big of a fix. I got home and changed the spark plugs thinking that was the issue. It wasn’t. Over the past few days I nailed it down to the CAS because I heard there’s a recall for the early years. As well as the rpm gauge not budging when I tried cranking it. I took out the CAS while it was plugged in and turn it and heard injectors click. I just don’t know if I heard all of them. There is a new ptu on it as well. I thought the wiring harness could be an issue so I did a harness delete. Still didn’t fix anything. My battery is pretty bad sitting at around 9.6 volts. I tested the 2nd cylinder coil pack for volts and I got nothing. The ignition relay has power going to it but couldn’t get any resistance. Right now I am taking apart the timing to see if she did it right when she did the 120k service. Just seeing if anybody can give me some pointers. Or diagrams for the power so I can check everything along the line.
