NO POWER TO A/C AND HEATER CONTROM

HI all I need help please I have a 1985 Z turbo didgal dash I have no power going to the main controls on the dash?They do not light up or anything . any suggestions? Danny

The didgel dash lihts up ok and works shouldn"t the heater controls work also?Danny

Dash cluster and climate controls are on a seperate circuit. Have you checked all the fuses?

This Car someone has removed the A/C and all the controls I have bought some used heater and A/C controls . the heater should still work even if I don't hook up an a/c unit?I havn't checked breakers yet. I'm not gonna have a/c heater only.

Therein lies your problem. You probably should have stated that in the original post. Are the new controls from an automatic or manual climate control system? Are the old controls from an automatic or manual climate control system? What do you have in place of the AC box?

The system should work without the AC system inplace, but if you don't have all the vacuum lines hooked up properly, you're SOL.

I have a didgel controls. all thats missing is the condencer and the conpressor and lines. none of the main a/c and heater has been removed . Just don't have power yet. I thank I did say didgel dash at he beginning. I just don't see any use on a t top or a convertable car with air cond. If its that hot I'll just drive my van. Danny
