is the car revving fast? or slow? i'm wondering because if it seems to be revving higher than expected for your accelleration, it could be clutch.

Also, it could be an enrichment issue. Check your spark plugs to see if they have a gas smell to them or look like they have an excess in carbon buildup on them. If so, you could have a busted FPR, bad O2 sensor, or an ignition problem.

Last question. Does it pop or ping? Like it's misfiring or knocking?

OBX designed a fuel pressure regulator?

if your exhaust seems to be coated with black carbon buildup, try putting a new O2 sensor in and see if that cures the problem

yea it is a pretty nice one... got it on ebay for $80. ill try a new sensor... any idea about the idle/power problem? cause it is wierd.. when i try to hold it at 2000 it drops to 1500 and goes back up to 2000 like once ever 3 seconds

it holds idle normally? double check to make sure you don't have a vac leak somewhere.

It's most likely timing. And check for any boost leaks by the intercooler.

you think it could be a boost leak? it says 12psi! you think i could really be making more and ****ing up the turbo because of a leak... example... pushing 30 at the turbo but only keeping in 12?

i had a boost leak before. My gauge would tell me it's at 10psi, and i felt no "kick" to it. It was like running N/A with extra noise. Turned out my intercooler gaskets blew out, so the boost the turbo was creating never reached the engine. I dont think your pushing 30psi.

any way to check for a leak? it dont seem to hold air with the compresser blowing in air.. any way to block up the motor?

put a little ATF fluid in number 3 and see if your number gose up.Was the motor cold or hot?I got 150 across all four and my motor was cold.I had a bad boost leak I would go WOT or TP and the car would just keep popping until I came to a stop.

use just enuff to almost cover the top of the piston,it helps the rings seal when the motor is cold.

just a few drops. you don't want to put a lot in there. I've never heard opf people using ATF before, but I know normal motor oil is usually used for that.

the way I check my car for boost leaks is to use an air compressor. We took a pipe that was the same size as my compressor inlet tube, welded a plate on top of it, drilled a hole in it, and then fitted an air hose attachment fitting. My friend has an air tool that allows him to manually control how much air leaks into the engine by turning a knob. All we do is watch the boost gauge while more air is allowed into the engine. You'll usually begin to hear boost leaks immediately, but once you hit around 5 or so and don't hear anything, you should be fine.

that's an elaborate setup that not everyone has, or can fabricate on their own though. But I'm just giving you an idea of something to do.
