Ok recently may battery went dead on my 1994 Nissan Maxima. My friend and I tried to jump the car off but she hooked her cables up backwards... It didnt do anything so she switched her cables around and we got the car to start. Well i took the cables off and the car died. There is no power to the blinkers, tail lights, brake lights, radio, dome light, or gauge lights. What should i do? Is there like a master fuse? If so where should i look for it at?!

Not good. You could have fried your computer comand Module. However, check your fuses first. Take the barttery out and take it to an Advanced Auto type store that will test the battery for free. You should also charge it too, if it is still good? WalMart has the cheapest batteries for sale. MAke sure you get the latest battery on the shelf and it is at a half charge too. Then you will need to test your Alternator too. A dead Battery might have been caused by a poor preforming Alternator, loose belt and/or bad cables.Cables rot from the inside especially old ars. Finally, have your friend take a course in bacic mechanics, if you want to keep her around, LOLsounds like she may be high maintance

Also, if your battery was that low, it might have been running off the battery. If you unhooked the cables too soon, the car would have died if the Alternator was not putting out enough power.

might have just freid the fuse right on the battery + side terminal and check ALL your fuses under hood and inside, the alternator fuse is probaly gone

sounds like a blown fusible link or a bad alternator. Id put money on the fusible link because every new car salesman has done that at my dealership (jumping the car backwards that is).
